Ms. Anu Acharya
Founder & CEO, Ocimum Biosolutions

Ms. Anu Acharya is the Founder & CEO of Ocimum Biosolutions, a global genomics outsourcing partner for discovery, development and diagnostics. Since founding the company in 2000, she has led the company through three strategic international acquisitions, two capital raises for equity investments and launch of several innovative products, solutions and services through its proprietary platform called RaaS (Research as a Service).She was recently named a “Young Global Leader” by the World Economic Forum for its class of 2011.

She currently serves as a governing board member at CSIR (Council for Scientific and Industrial Research), the premier R&D Organization in India and also a governing board member at the NIBMG (National Institute for Biomedical Genomics).

Prior to founding Ocimum Biosolutions, Ms. Acharya has had rich experience in the Telecom, IT and entrepreneurship arenas. She worked for a start-up in the telecommunications space called Mantiss Information and a consulting firm called SEI Information where she helped create a social networking site for entrepreneurs. Her experience is backed by education at premier institutions such as the Indian Institute of Technology at Kharagpur, India (IIT) and University of Illinois where she has two Post Graduate degrees in Physics and MIS.

She was selected by Red Herring Magazine to the list of “25 Tech Titans under 35″ in 2006. She has been named Biospectrum “Entrepreneur of the Year” for 2008 and also has been awarded the Astia Life Science Innovators Award in the same year. Ms. Acharya has been a past President of the Hyderabad chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organization and currently serves on the board of ABLE (Association of Biotech Led Enterprises). At Ocimum, she also mentors committees for resource development and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Mr. Subash Lingareddy
Founder, President & CFO, Ocimum Biosolutions

Mr. Subash Lingareddy is a Financial Professional and a CFA charter holder with over six years of experience working in several roles from an equity analyst to a financial risk manager, before joining Ocimum. He has an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign with a concentration in Corporate Finance. He has a MS in Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago specializing in risk management. He has a Bachelors degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology at Kharagpur.

Mr. Sanjay Bhardwaj
VP, Sales, Ocimum Biosolutions

Sanjay Bhardwaj is the Vice President Sales for rest of world region (ROW) at Ocimum Biosolutions. Sanjay has 16 years extensive experience in sales and managing large accounts in industries such as IT, Energy, Government and Life Sciences.

Prior to Ocimum, Sanjay held sales, corporate planning, marketing consulting roles in different geographies i.e. Australia, China, South East Asia, India. Sanjay has expertise in developing new markets / product launches and managing diverse product portfolio in IT, Life Science and discovery domain. Sanjay holds a Masters in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi as well as M.B.A from University of New South Wales, Sydney.

Mr. Sridhar Reddy Kolanu
VP, Bio-IT, Ocimum Biosolutions

Sridhar is the Vice President of Bio-IT division of Ocimum Biosolutions. Sridhar is responsible for managing and delivery of Bio-IT Products and Solutions to customers across the globe in the areas of Laboratory information management systems(LIMS), Bioinformatics and Bio-databases. Currently heading the team of Software Engineering group, Software Implementation group and Software QA group. Sridhar is been a key contributor to the success of Ocimum Journey.

Sridhar has 12 years of extensive experience in Design, Development and Delivery of scientific software solutions to Life Sciences industry. Sridhar holds PGD in Management Information Systems & Computer Applications (MIS-CA) and Bachelors degree in life sciences from Osmania university Hyderabad. He is a certified Bioinformatician from Michigan Technological University, USA.

Mr.Govind Rao Adireddi
VP, BioIT Consulting, Ocimum Biosolutions

Vice President – BioIT Consulting at Ocimum Biosolutions, Govind is responsible for driving the BioIT consulting division at Ocimum. He has extensive experience in building bioinformatics and research tools. He manages the team of bioinformaticians, statisticians, scientists and business analysts to create unique proposition for discovery and R&D divisions of pharmaceutical, biotech and other setups in life sciences industry.

Govind has over 12 years of experience and holds degree in life sciences, bioinformatics and MBA from Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), Hyderabad.
